A couple from a local gardening area both using 60D and new 28mm f/1.8

First at f/5.6 a bee in flight:

Second at f/8 a flower with the sky as a back drop

Both are fantastic shots, Dave!! Sharp bee in flight and love the colors and composition of the second one!! Very nicely done!

Here are a few miscellaneous shots over the last few days. First one I used the DPP HDR single shot "Art Vivid" setting to process ...

Dave - Is it harder to get the bee in flight or the Thunderbirds?

I find getting the bees in flight tough to do. I get a lot of blurry bees before I get a halfway decent one... but my macro A/F is a little on the slow side.

    Nice work on both.

Denise - How are you liking the single shot HDR in DPP? Does it work as well as the other HDR software you have? DPP is all I have for HDR (and that is fairly new), so I do not know if I am missing out on not getting a better software.

    The little girl is cute.

The Kenosha lake front area is very nice. We stop by there periodically. We're ~ 1 hr 15 min away or so, sometimes we bookend a trip to Lake Geneva with stopping by the Kenosha lake front or the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall.
