Pardon my indulgence in posting so many, but here are 6 of my favorites from a recent trip to Duluth, MN.

    #1 A light trail taken with 135L

#2 A view of the Canal Park light houses with a ship coming through taken with 28mm f/1.8

#3 A young lady enjoying a dusk view of the Canal Park light houses also taken with 28mm

#4 A similar scene now at night with a canoe passing by, I like the blue colors and all of the lights reflecting. This is one example where reality and photo don't line up, but I think what has been captured is beautiful. This one was also taken with 28mm.

#5 The Duluth shore line taken with 10-22mm rental lens

#6 A colorful rose from the Rose Garden taken with 135L

Recently visited Yellowstone..it's such a beautiful place..really enjoyed my trip- and it's never enough time staying in nature!

Here's one of my favourites during my trip

and here's one during my short pass-by at Grand Teton National Park- The works of Ansel Adams really inspired me to do this B&W, especially with his amazing pictures of the National Parks..

I haven't posted in this area for a long time, so I'll put up my amateurish shot. This is a combination of every blast that went off, or at least that I captured, in a little town we were visiting during the 4th of July festivities. It was a smaller display as they don't have the budget of big cities and most of the money for the display comes from donations. The mosquitos were horrible and I have been itching for the last couple days. Next time I will set up the camera and remote and sit comfortably in my car.

Nice shot and smart thinking Jason.
Went for a wander around the mountains today. This does not really depict anything mountainous, rather a King Parrot sitting on a ladies head.
