    Maybe 25-30 minutes. Lots of layer dupes and masking.

    Seriously, and it's the ugliest part of the image.

    Lovely Sunset. The reflections in the pond are a nice touch to the image.

    I went to a wildlife refuge that was completely submerged by the Missouri River last summer. It appears that it has hardly recovered at all. A house about a mile from the entrance to the refuge still shows signs of the water about 4 feet up on exterior. Sad to see as this was a beautiful place to visit during migration season.

    Here's a shot of the outskirts of the refuge by some farm land. I can't believe the amount of sand deposited. This is taken from the road. There are signs all over stating beware of blowing sand.

    @Rick....nice shot. Really like the reflection in the fountain's pool.

    @Jayson....sad, but interesting shots.

    Thanks, Jayson. Where is that game reserve? Strange how fickle Mother Nature is. Last year way too much rain, this year we get none.

    Totally agree. It is way to dry everywhere. The game reserve is called Boyer Chute NWR. It is just north of Omaha, NE. I haven't been to DeSoto NWR since the snow melted from this winter to see the effects the flood had on it. I do believe Boyer Chute was hit much harder due to its location in relation to the Missouri River. Boyer got sand while DeSoto got mud.

    Here is some corn. I was trying to get a good picture of the corn rows, but I believe I am just too short.
