For me an image is something that grabs my attention, it makes me want to find out more. This is just that type of image.

For somebody looking at the Kent State photo it's the same because you want to find out what its about. I don't think I have ever seen an image that can tell a story with words.

I don't know what it's like for photojournalists in the US but here most of them are now freelance. All of the news papers are now using Getty Images etc.

If you want to be a photojournalist for a news network, there's no future.
