    Welcome, I like the composition of the last. My favourite is the second, nice conversion, plenty of texture, a good feel to this image.

    yup, I second the comments here: you have a good eye and a keen attitude, the learning part is straight-forward and, best of all, a lot of fun!


    I agree with erno about taking a few steps toward the water, but maybe you specifically wanted the blown highlights on the water....I also think the photo works quite well like it is.

    Thanks for all the advice everyone. Erno, I do need to get some more SD cards but I think RAW, as you said, is going to be the way to go. The creative said is most likely from my family. Both of my uncles are excellent photographers and my father used to take excellent shots when I was growing up, so I have them to thank for that.
