Thanks guys. I just finished processing the pictures. Most all were of the race and really were quite boring. Once you take pics of a few pit crews changing tires or cars running around the track, they all start looking the same.
This is the last I will post. I noticed that when the cars leave the pit area, as soon as they are off the jacks they are smoking the tires. I wanted to capture this motion so I slowed the shutter speed down to 1/40 / F2.8 / ISO 160. I thought the results were a little more interesting than the generic car photo's on the track.

Rick..both of the above are great...but really like the second...it has a real sense of energy too it.
