Good job Dave. You could maybe crop in a little tighter #1 & 3 (cut out the ref), but that's just my preference.

Great shots. The jump ball especially stands out to me.

    Hi, nice results!

When it turned out you already had the 85/1.8 I was wondering why the other lenses were your first choices. Of course, zooms are handy, but in venues like these f/1.8 is even more handy. I'm not surprised you kept it on the camera once you tried it.

My favorite is white player no. 2 on his way towards the net, caught in a great action pose hovering above the floor. I agree with the previous comment though, crop the upper left corner to remove the arm of the referee - I believe it would make a much better composition.

Great job! 1/640 second seemed to really do the job!

So hows this for funny. I was the resident physician there for the team that night and was just taking these shots for fun. I showed them to my attending physician and he sends the link to the PR guy for the team. He sends me a message and says he could really use those and any more images I have!

    What luck eh?

If I was a PR type for the teams I'd want them too. Nicely done.

Good for you, nice to be appreciated. Maybe you should consider switching careers? (kidding)

The 85 1.8 is a great lens and fast. I like the shots and the focus and IQ is really good.
    FYI
Don't try this with an 85 1.2 cost is 5x more but the autofocus is 5x slower.
