B+W offer special 'slim' filters to minimise this vignetting and the difference is remarkable. They are however even more expensive than the normal B+W ones. So with those two lenses: make sure to use a proper sized filter. (Particularly on the 16-35 because the effect of a normal UV filter on the vignetting is strongest here).
