Laptop died - what is the replacement

I replaced 2560 x 1440 monitor with a 4K monitor about a year ago, both 27 inch. The new monitor made a nice difference, BUT--I think that is largely due to other factors that are better on the new monitor (gamma performance and contrast when the total brightness is appropriately low).

Both monitors were from Samsung, and neither in the same class as the one Jonathan has his eye on.

The 4K version is quite a bit more.

No 4K at that price?
It should have a built in coffee maker and be able to do all the PP for you automatically for that kind of money.

Ha ha no kidding! The 4K version is "only" $1,000 more. Presumably that one can make cappuccino
