    I believe this was from late September about 7am. Taken with 100mm macro. f4.5, 1/800 sec, iso 100.

    @Alex--wow, the contrast of the purple & orange is great!


    Things have been coming along fairly well in the Phoenix area for the past few weeks. Nothing like last year, unfortunately, but still a pretty nice show. Here's one of my favorites from a recent outing:






    (For what it's worth, my wildflower-tagged pics on Flickr have many more personal favorites than I should post in this thread, including some from last year...)
