    I have taken mine during the International des Feux Loto-Québec, a major fireworks competition that takes place each summer in Montreal.


    This is South Korea's display. My girlfriend and I had the crappiest places of the site, even though we had paid for our seats (you can of course see the competition from the surrounding area free of charge). The tall pine on the left was blocking half our field of view...

    A three-legged monopod (not as stable as a tripod, though). I also used a wired remote.
