    It was a very tough decision this week, but I'm going to have to go with Jonathan Huyer – Rhapsody in Gold. That one made me stop and stare for a bit.

    Besides Jonathan's winning image, I seriously considered awarding the highest honor to the following contenders (in no particular order): jerrytech1's "Beginnings", jamsus's "Verdone" & sedwards's "Amelie."

    Wow thanks! It's really hard to go wrong at that spot. And having Brant along was great for motivation and inspiration as well. We first thought the sunrise was going to be rather subdued, but then the sun broke through the gap and put on a great show. Afterwards we photographed some bull elk during the peak of their rut, which was also a lot of fun.

    Congratulations on the win Jonathan. It was definitely a tough week but an amazing shot.

    Always a lot of fun to hang out and shoot together.
