    I don't know about Windows 7, but Vista Home is a big POS.


    Does anybody know how to fix the gamma table getting reset upon startup? I have a calibrated profile, and the gamma table loads, and then windows resets it to the original uncalibrated settings, sometimes....It started afterinstallation of SP2, I think...


    It seems that the behavior changes everytime they do an update. I can give Microsoft a credit card number to have somebody tell me how to fix this problem that they created, but I just hate giving them more money when, really, I should just find out the inviduals responsible and gun them down...


    Not seriously, I think. I don't own a gun. Flippin' jerks!


    Do I pay for 7? XP worked fine for me. I wish they would stop making crap.

    I didn't upgrade to Vista for exactly that reason.

    XP works fine for me too, but Microsft are going to stop supporting it later this year[] So far, I'm hearing 7 is an improvement on Vista.
