    Bob, Denise, thanks.

Denise, these were along highway 35, about the town of Dairyland (just north of Danbury).

Denise, I don't live there, but Wisconsin has some of the best colors, because of the many maples and other hardwoods, so my wife and I make it a habit to travel to the various spots in WI, when each area is in peak color. Wisconsin is truly the New England of the Midwest.

Here are a couple from the southern part, too. Near Cashton, just north of Portland (near Westby). Not in the SE, but getting there!

Caught this leaf in mid air. A rare shot, for me. Both photos with a 5DMk2 and 24-105 L.

LOL! Too funny!! I read this right after I went thru dozens of fall color photos I took yesterday and saw all of them were duds ...my composition really stunk! That is how I'll feel this weekend when I go back out to try again and look at bare trees!!!

    Great shots Alan.

They make me want to go shoot more foliage this weekend.

Great shots everyone. Makes me want to shoot more but since it is almost Oct. 16th the only shooting I will be doing in the near future is going to be with a bow and arrow and then a shotgun. Hopefully I will be posting a trophy.
