I'm glad you like it. I'm happy with my 5D2 too.

For wedding payments, who does half when booking and half upon delivery of the photos, or who does full payment day of or before the wedding?

The pro photographers I know do 25-50% on booking and the rest before the wedding. I don't know any personally that take final payment on delivery, but I'm sure it's common.

Do you find that common or is that no good? Any thoughts?

Yes, it's common. In my experience, the post processing takes about twice as much work as the shooting, so it would really be more fair to pay on delivery of the final photos. But that significantly increases the risk of not getting paid, because it will be after the stars have left their eyes, cold hard reality hits them in the face. If you do accept payment on delivery, it should only be in trade for something else to offset your additional risk (such as a higher cost).
