If you want to take a pic of your brand spankin new 7D you might have to use your Rebel XT to get the job done lol. I used my Rebel XT to take picks of my 40D last year . Great shots Garret.Originally Posted by powers_brent

The Navy SEALS Leapfrogs Jump Team. Allen Stone Run Swim Run and 5K. I have some shots from another race on Tuesday, but they're on my other system.
A rude awakening..... They were about 15 stories up.

I'm trying to capture HB's wing patterns as they hover and still keep the head/eye sharp.
This pic (f Ruby-throated) was taken at f5.6, ISO 1250, 1/160 (slowest so far)w/natural back lighting. Unfortunately I only have this type of light for a few minutes in late afternoonand the HBs don't always show upwhen and where I want them. I still want to go slower w/the shutter speed.
Jayson....I enjoy your zoo pix, keep 'em coming. Like the seal puckering up for you.
Sean....is thatthe strobist 101 book? Once again, nice portraits and lighting.
Shea....nice capture of the HB. I always manage to wash outthe eye(s) w/a flash. What type of plant is it at?
Thanks for sharing....great pix everybody.
I was trying to catch the movement of the interpreter's hands. Had a devil of a time balancing the black abyss and her white blouse. On the final I cropped out the light and cloned out the power cables. Kind of fun to do for a strobist wannabe.
