Shipping from Hong Kong to many countries are very cheap thanksto the treaties. In fact, shipping from Hong Kong to US is actually cheaper than shipping within US itself.

Thanks Stephen for your reply. I decided to go in for a less costlier filter then Canon just for lens protection. I was initially under the impression that UV filters acted the same way on digital cameras as they did on film cameras. But that is not to be so. Thanks any ways. Cheers
