    Wally,

I am happy you like it. The tripod was left in the car. I am pretty sure I supported my elbow on a bridge railing, but most of what you see is the 4 stop IS on the EFS 15-85. Love that lens.

    Thanks Chris,

Sorry, about the delayed response. I was up at Killington Vermont Skiing the past few days.

I like your night shot! I have a similar shot during an overcast day, and then when it was snowing.

Cheers indeed Rich, I like the colours and look of the log cabin Stube.

Nice waiters friend and you still have steady hands even with that empty bottle gloating in it

I use the auto focus. The 5D Mark II isn't that bad with still subjects (pun intended). If it were down to me, it would look like I was shooting through a whisky tumbler. We sampled quite a few 'expressions' of the Glenfiddich. It almost looked like the aftermath of one of Steve's wine tasting sessions, but with more alcohol involved.

I think my friends already did that tour but I couldn't make it. I'd definitely like to go there some time.

Bill, not during this trip. Last time I did the Flume was probably 2 yrs ago. So I am due. I also hear hiking up above the Basin along the Pemi has a lot of great waterfalls. And then there is Arethusa Falls. I can see a couple of trips up there this summer. []
