    I have gotten so I can find Snowy Owls easy enough, but it is difficult to find them on a decent perch. There preferred perch seems to be power poles. So it was nice yesterday to find this one on top of a dead limb. Even at 560 mm, it was cropped fairly heavily. I should have dropped the ISO a little also (live and learn).

    the birds in florida are very camera friendly. 200mm was actually to much for this one , had to back it down to 150mm

    It's bitterly cold here too and the small birds are flocking to the feeders....I took these on my lunch break today.
