    Pat....great shots.....I like all three. In the first the reflections in the waves stand out, the second the suburst, and I like the side lighting in the third.

    Thanks! All taken with my Fuji X10, my carry-everywhere camera.

    There were a couple of arched blue and purple flare artifacts just above the bottom right hand rule-of-third point if that makes sense, but the B&W conversion has rendered them almost invisible.

    Saying that, I think you can see one of them in the spray, but it's not a problem at all.

    The lens on the X10 doesn't flare much generally, but you can lose contrast if the sun is outside the frame, so I try to put the sun IN the frame where possible.

    Just got back from Vancouver. Didn't get a chance to do as much shooting as I thought I would. I did climb Grouse Mountain, which was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I did not break an hour. Here's a few shots from the trip. I'm still going through a bunch of them.
