Danny --- Nice image and composition! I'm curious to know what you did to it in post. I'm also curious if this eagle is perhaps a vulture. I'm not great with bird ID so I could be right out to lunch. Thanks for sharing this.

The change in post was pushing the Adobe Camera Raw to high "clarity" then boosting contrast, vibrance and saturation , then adjusting exposure up again after those changes. Otherwise the canyon was very dim.
A friend an I take an annual trip to go see waterfalls. His goal is usually to see as many as possible, whereas mine...photography. This year we picked the area around Ithaca, NY. This area is littered with waterfalls as the surrounding farmland cascades down to the Finger Lakes of upstate New York. In addition, the rock type happens to predominantly be shale, which tends to break apart cleanly and in layers/steps, which is great for waterfalls. While several of the waterfalls are on their own, many are also found in "glens" which are very narrow valleys carved out by water and glaciers. Each glen tends to have multiple waterfalls running through it. Several are well developed State Parks. I've heard that there are some less developed ones, which I would love to see, but coming in and not knowing the area, it is easiest to follow the guidebooks.
With 19 named waterfalls (yet, I can't find all their names), the most famous is probably Watkins Glen. My friend and I were there when it opened and by the time it was done, it was approaching a mob scene. But, for the 832 steps to the top and 832 steps back (there is a shuttle during peak times), we had it mostly with just 1-2 other groups.
I am going to do this a bit different than usual and include more than the typical max of 4-5 images per post. Hope you do not mind.

Dave, the color of the soil is just right as a contrast for the corn. ( My apologies if it is sorghum instead.)
It's corn. A side effect of the tight framing is it's tough to tell what the plant is
