Great shots Tounis, Franco and Pat. I always enjoy going through this thread....

I dropped my wife off at the airport in Boston last night, which game me the chance to take a few shots of the Boston skyline. Sadly, I am still seeing some softness issues with my 15-85. I'll probably be sending it in next week.

Beacon Hill infront of the Downtown Skyline:

Backbay skyline including the Prudential Center:

More Backbay including the John Hancock Tower:

    Finally, the Bunker Hill Memorial:

    Thanks for viewing...Brant

Thank you for the very kind words. I am just lucky to live where I do. But I must admit, I would love the opportunity to be able to get some mountain shots like the you folks in Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Rockies area of U.S., etc. Someday when I get the time, my wife and I will plan a trip to get som nice mountain shots.

You live in a beautiful area, and I appreciate you sharing the great views and the compositions you come up with.

Great shot of the sunset,Pat. I love the colour and the dreamy water. I'm actually really jealous of you, I live in Vancouver and it ALWAYS rain (we get snow sometimes)...yeah we do get nice views of the mountains but I'd much prefer the nice sunny weather in the south so I won't get soaking wet every time I go out for photos..

Brant: I love the night city-scape of Boston. I love tall buildings with complicated yet beautiful structure, and of course, the lighting at night.

These are very fantastic shots! They make great postcards or wall displays.

    I like this one enough to post. Taken with 60D & 70-200 f/4 L USM at 70mm, f/4, 1/250 shutter, and ISO 200.

That one would fit the assignment.

Edit: It looks like you were posting it to the assignment when I was writing the post above.

Thanks Pat! What's funny is that I didn't go out thinking about the assignment or anything... just saw the bike weldment and thought "Hmm I see lots of these types of shots in the Zeiss galleries so I'll give this a go". I edited the color version and decided to try a B&W with partial color as well.

I think think the B&W treatment worked well on this one.

Great shot Ben, nice effect with the selective focal plane. Looks like you still haven't run out of things to look at.
