Loving my Tokina, this lens is unreal. Cloned out the power lines that went back to shore. Don't tell anyone

why not just clone them out completely pole and all? Nice shot though. Is that on its own island?

I thought about that. Thought about seeing if I could get rid of the flagpole in front of the house as well since there was no flag flying. And yes, it's on it's own island. Look at this shot. See that little peninsula jutting out on the left? That's where I was standing when I took the picture.

Went back and took out both the power pole, and the flagpole. It does look a lot better, although I kinda feel like a cheat by taking them out :P

    Mark:
They are both nice, but the first one is very cute. What a great looking expression (you are right... she seems to be smiling).

Mark, great photos. I will be attempting something very similar in May. Do you have any tips?

    Thanks!

    1) Sleep babies = cuter than awake babies :-)
    2) What's not in the frame is often more important than what's in the frame. Keep your background clean and uncluttered. A blanket can go a long way. Also, experiement with tilting the camera and varying your perspective.
    3) Avoid contrasty light but it should not be flat. Big soft light works well with babies.
