Robin found berries
Kayaker is already posting great pix with the new 500mm f/4 II.
When I just go for a walk, hoping maybe I'll find a photo opportunity, I only want to deal with the weight of the SL2 with the 400mm f/5.6.

Took this one on a work trip to St. John's last month. Posted another shot from the same night in the assignment thread last week.

Noctilucent clouds.
Stacked 41 images for fun and liked the result.

Nice shot Kari! Just out of curiosity, how were the 41 shots stacked? Photoshop or some other application? What was different about the shots (ie varied focus or exposure) or were they just stacked to reduce noise?

Just 41 shots from a 50 shots intervall. Used aurora hdr to create "hdr" image from those 41 images. So basically used hdr software to do the aligning to have sharper image from stacking. Pretty much only thing i did to that picture is that i changed bit the exposure.

Here are a couple from June. These were taken on a clear night a few minutes walk from my house. Had to wait a seemingly long time for it to get dark so close to the solstice!
