The 1DX does sound amazing and I am glad to hear it is performing well for you. Of course, I was jokingly inferring that the photographer's skill was on display as well as the capability of the camera.

I've recently had a couple of bouts of others attributing pictures that I took being good because of my camera. Of course, in my instance, they are probably right

Oh yes I got the joke... No worries there. You got a good smile out of me. Fortunately people haven't asked me that in a serious vein, but I'm definitely not shy to admit that the equipment has saved the day for me on more than one occasion. Wildlife photography takes a lot of effort, a bit of luck, and a tidy investment in gear. In that order.

After some errands with one of my roommates, we met up with her sisters and nephew. I got a few shots of the little guy and these two were my favorite. Quite the photogenic little guy.

Nah, I've had that for a bit. I was just playing around with the Roki 35mm. In one of those lightbulb moments (facepalm), I discovered that manual focusing is infinitely easier if your diopter setting is correct. Just a couple clicks and suddenly everything was clear. Amazing how that works.
