    went out in hopes of some good landscape type shots...failed at those but came home with these bird shots.

    And finally, after years of trying to get a shot of a kingfisher, I finally have my first acceptable photo of one.

    What a bonanza! All of them are nice but I like the Wren and the Kingfisher best...good ones!

    Here are a few of my best from this weekend all taken with 60D, 135L, and 1.4X EF II teleconveter except the black capped chickadee which was taken without the extender.

    This was the first time I've ever been able to photograph a male downy woodpecker. The chickadee and house finch shots were taken using my new perch. I like the green gradient type looking background I'm getting now that the soybean field behind my house is growing!
