    I like the pose, the low shooting angle and the lighting. I might consider cropping a little off the bottom and (on my screen) it looks a little over-sharpened because I think I am seeing some sharpening induced artifacts on the rock.

    I really love the low angle shots but since I am nearing 60 my body doesn't like it so much

    Yes, I tried to edit my post to add that I liked the BG too and also images need to over-sharpened on screen to make excellent prints. I couldn't get my edit to come across for some reason.

    I agee and I originally cropped it that way but then I changed it to make more compatible with standard sizes of printer paper.

    I am doing Little League Baseball of my friend's kids again this year. To minimize processing time I have been shooting small jpegs rather than RAW. They actually come out pretty good most of the time just straight from the camera. I thought this one was nice.
