    We had several Turkey Vultures that frequented the raptor set up at Laguna Seca .... this is one of my best images of them.

    The Canon R5 + RF 100-500mm is a great combo for flight images.

    The R5 + RF 100-500 strikes again .... it produces a lot of flight images with tack sharp AF.

    This bird was quite a distance out from the blind we were using but a good testament to the crop ability afforded by the R5.

    A young Crested Caracara has a blue-gray beak that can intensify in color when they become excited or irritated.

    Bathing Green Jay .... Gene has some nice water features for the birds and there is plenty of good light in the late afternoon to allow whatever shutter speed you would like -
