Wow, Nice stuff here. I have never shot Pano, but this really motivates me to give it a try.

I love this thread!! Nice shots everyone!! I don't do very many landscape shots. There's not much to shoot around here and I can't remember the last time I took a vacation anywhere so I really love looking at these that other people took. I used to vacation quite often in the smokey mountains but it was before I had a dslr. Looking at your photos Pat makes me want to go back!

    Keep the beautiful photos coming!!

M_Six - Beautiful shot of Death Valley

Denise - Thank you. I bet soon you'll be able to get some nice iced up lighthouse shots. I am kind of hoping to get some soon.

Thanks, but Mother Nature did all the work. Death Valley is stunning everywhere you look. Amazing place.

Thanks, Bob --- yes, I'm back and forth between Calgary and Banff all the time. So this area is my backyard, and I get lots of opportunities to go play. But photography is only one of the activities that I like to do outdoors. In the winter I'm cross-country skiing a lot, and in the summer I'm a mountain bike fanatic. If you ever come visit, let me know!

Beautiful light on the mountain, Jonothan and I really like the mist, rising and disappearing.

Wow, Jonathan! Looks like something right out of a magazine! Ditto what Steve said regarding the light and mist!
