PS keep the shutter speed up as much as possible on that 500mm lens to get the sharpest pics of songbirds!

Hi! I remember Canon issued a Product Advisory on this ghosting problem. It should be solved with the 1.1.0 firmware update so you better check it, just to be sure that is not related.
