7.4mm is normal for a P&S... My S60 P&S lens is about 5-15mm.
Way to go, Brittany! This will be inspirational news for my 11-year-old son, and perhaps also proof that a great photo comes from the way the photographer sees the subject, not just from a fancy camera.
