Love the shot James. It is great as is, but I agree, that is a spot you could come back to several times to see how different it looks.
Fun sequence Mark....

I love the picture too, the bird adds a nice detail. I'm looking forward to seeing your next shot from this place.

Very nice James. I really like that as it is, and I would never be disappointed with your results. But I can see what you are saying - going back when the clouds are all lit up... that would really throw it over the top. Although, always driving for perfection can lead to a life long addiction.
I have been seeing a lot of fawns in the yard fields lately. There was another (smaller) fawn just outside of the frame in this field.

This is my best shot of 'current', so I think it belongs in this thread.
This is an example of a tidal race, named the "Falls of Lora". It forms at the mouth of Loch Etive at low tide when the sea level drops below the level of Loch Etive, to the right of the bridge. As the water pours out through the narrow mouth of the loch, it passes over a rocky shelf under the water, causing the turbulence.

Nice shot, Andy. Cool looking bridge. Reminds me of the kind you could build in an old free bridge-building game that we used to play. You'd build your best bridge and then see if it could hold a train passing over it.

Thanks Mark. The is Connel Bridge, which was built for the railway but now carries the main road between Oban and Fort William. For a time, it served both road and rail.

There is a Parthenon in TN? Cool....
I am starting to go through my waterfall weekend trip. This year we went to Maine, between Bethel and Rangeley. These are from Small Falls near Rangeley Maine. Beautiful area if you ever get the chance to make it up there.
All shot with the 5DIII, 24-105 and 6 stop B+W ND filter.
