It must be wonderful to have access to so many great bird species. Here in ireland, rather a lot of our birds are a bit unexciting, like this fellow below[]

That's a great picture actually thanks to the great bokeh. Which lens did you use? Which focal length and which f number?

I had just ringed the bird, you can see the ring on the right leg. He perched in the tree to smooth down his feathers and I grabbed the shot. Shot taken April 2008.
