    Got to spend a long weekend in Seattle. Among the stops was Ballard Locks. They have a great fish ladder viewing area where you can often see large salmon moving from Puget Sound into Lake Washington and upstream to spawn. No such luck on my stop, but a few small trout (smolts?) where hanging around.

    Did a whale watch through the New England Aquarium last weekend. Two of my favorite shots:

    We took a hike up Blue Mountain in the Adirondacks. Zuni seemed to enjoy the view.

    Danny --- Nice image and composition! I'm curious to know what you did to it in post. I'm also curious if this eagle is perhaps a vulture. I'm not great with bird ID so I could be right out to lunch. Thanks for sharing this.
