    I don't have a nice backyard for bird shots, but I do have a big Avocado tree in front of my door. This morning I stepped outside and heard toc toc toc, and when I looked up I saw this:

    Not much done in PP (yet) other than 4.4MP crop and Nik Dfine noise reduction.

    But the really cool thing is in the Exif data - the file name is already a hint

    yes, that's right. The T3i served me well, but shots at ISO 3200 are not that much fun. It will be up for sale soon.

    Thanks Joel - I was very lucky to have a willing subject. The shot is non cropped w the 600 II at f4 on the 1DX. I wish I had another hour in this area to get better BIF shots of the eagles. I got a few but was rushed (guided tour), so I didn't get everything optimized. Here is the best I got (not completely sharp or framed right).Click image for larger version.
