Not a true macro, but closest I have for now, will be playing with extension tube and see what I can get.
Kombi, This is really an interesting shot---the lighting and mood is incredible. Nice job

I'm not an over the top facebook fanatic but I do like the shots, Sean! You always get your macro shots extremely sharp with of course, perfect lighting! Very nice!

Looks like a macro to me... You don't have to use a dedicated macro lens to make something macro.

Denise - you have been getting a lot of great shots of flowers and I was getting envious since we still did not have and flowers around here. I went down to Texas on Monday and everything around here was still dead (no flowers, now leaves, no forsinthia), then I came home Wed. night and when I got up in the morning everything was different. We had flowers, leave, and the green was coming out in the grass. It is amazing how fast things change when the temps get in the 80's. What weird weather we are having. So here are a few Dafodiles (finally):

Nice shots, Pat! We are back to cold & windy weather so I won't be taking macro shots outside for awhile!

Here are a couple from the other day taken inside with flowers from my garden ....

Taken with the 100mm IS macro lens ...

This one was taken with the Sigma 85mm and a 12mm ext. tube ...
