You caught some good action there, Brant. Great shots.
Not much action in this shot, from a hike in the Cairngorm mountains last weekend. I came across these reindeer browsing on the short grass high up near the summit of Cairn Gorm. At this altitude, the snow can lie all year round. These three beasts are part of a herd of about 120 that roam these hills, but it's still quite rare to see them as they tend to avoid the most frequented areas. They are very docile and were unconcerned as I approached them.

Thanks Andy and Jayson.....glad you like the shots.
Nice shots of the Reindeer and GBH.
Nice ones Brant and Jason.
Good to see you posting Andy. Beasts? These three beasts? For beasts they look very cute, furry and cuddly. No red noses???

I just checked my dictionary and it says a beast is "Any animal other than man, esp. a large wild quadruped." The term is often used in Scotland to refer to deer.
What's a dictionary?
We call cattle beasts, so I think you are right, deers definitely qualify as beasts.
