    I used a Minolta 600mm f/6.3 bare for the first two and with a 2x extender for the last one.


    Yes the squirl picture was taken in light rain. I'll post some more pictures as I get time.

    Thanks for your comment. I saw this lens once on ebay in well used condtion which sold for a $1000. It's a very hard lens to find, from what I have "heard" that Minolta didn't make too many of these lenses. I found this lens on craigslist for $250!!! I got all nine lenses from this older gentleman who was a photo instructer andlife longphotog for $400!!!!!!! All in absolutely mint condition....[]

    LOL who needs a Canon EF 800mm when you have such a sharp lens?


    BTW, what kind of adapter you are using to connect it to you (EOS right?) camera?

    Actually, all I did was sand the rear end cap to about 1/4" andhot glued it in place!! I will get the mount converted eventually, but until then this works fine.

    I'm not quite sure...[] Wheeelllllll, the 800mm L has IS and auto focus and uuhhmmm, well ok...[]
