Welcome to the forum Eric,
nice shot. Was that with the 10-22 that you mentioned in the other thread?
Arnt
Welcome Eric. That's a great way to make an entrance. I look forward to you sharing more pictures here.
Here's one from Sunday. I was at Rogie falls, where there's a wibbly wobbly suspension footbridge over the river. It's a great viewpoint for the waterfall but not ideal for long exposure shots when some excitable children insist on jumping up and down for fun.

The river is called the Black Water due to the peaty soils further upstream.
Eric ...nice entrance. Great capture. Lake CDA?
Andy...you had a very good day.... perfect amount of motion....![]()
Thanks Jason, and great shot Eric! That's an amazing capture.
Denise, the clarity in that shot is really nice. What lens is that? Couldn't see it in the exif on flickr.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I look forward to learning more and getting some good shots.
Yes it was with the 10-22 set at 10mm.
Thanks, probably the luckiest shot I will ever have. I was just shooting in small JPG format to make a timelapse, so it isn't perfect but still is probably the most amazing shot I have ever taken. This was just a bit north, on Priest Lake.
I was in the middle of some lightroom restructuring when I cam across this photo from a zoo visit about 3 years ago. For some reason I didn't pay much attention to it then, But upon review, It caught my attention. The more I looked at it the more it made me think that there is something so wrong about these places. I know they serve a valuable purpose to humans, but still, when you see shots like this it just doesn't seem right.
