Nice capture of the Cooper's (?) this and the Sharp shinned are difficult birds to differentiate, but I'm thinking it might be a Sharp-shinned Dave. Mainly because a Cooper's tail feathers have prominent white tips (although this coloring can be worn off) and to me, its eyes should be more forward on its head; i.e. closer to the beak, for a Cooper's.
The difficulty, for me anyhow, to ID these birds, is why I've started calling them Shooper's.

Great shots guys! I think you're correct Bill. I struggled with the ID and now agree that the lack of a white strip shows this guy is a Sharp-Shinned Hawk.
