I think it should be based around going out and shooting something new in line with the themeto get the creative juices flowing rather than using old images. What do you guys think?

If that were the case, we'd need to specify a duration for the contest as well as a deadline for posting to the contest as shooting something new will likely take more time than posting something you already have.

I like the contest the way it is - it gives me a chance to browse through some of my older and better photographs.


Other sites, such as Digital Photography School, do the same type of assignment task with only newly shot photographs. Every now and again I chip in to that, but this is a chance to be a bit different.
