    For some reason I can see everyone's shots except kitaoka. Is it my computer, or is anyone else experiencing this? If it is me, what could the issue be? Based on some of the comments, I'd really like to see his work.

    Until now, I've gone almost strictly with available light. I used to think it was just better, but I think, for me, it's been as much a case of being easier. My prior experience with flash was entirelyof the "flash on the camera flattens the image" variety, and almost always made a picture look entirely unnatural. I think learning how to use available light has been very good experience, but being able to add light to the mix, thoughtfully, just adds a whole new dimension.Seeing the stuff here that uses flash in dramatic or subtle ways is really motivating. Thanks dudes/dudets!

    Wow Colin those two pictures are amazing. They have that 'x factor' that makes a godo portrait. I love the second one, unposed, and full of emotion. Excellent work. Do you have a website where I can see more of what you do?
