My two favourites of this year (until now)
To support Brian's praise of the 55-250STM, here's a shot I grabbed of a pelican zooming along the surface of the water alongside the cruise ship we were recently on. This is a serious crop and one frame of many sharp frames taken with the 55-250STM on an SL1 and shooting AI Servo. That combo actually makes a decent, lightweight birding rig.
