I'm in awe of the fact my picture was even selected for votiing amongst sucha tough crowd. I personally liked other picturesmore than mine, including the one I voted for as well as several that were not in the finals.
You folks really make me rethink the way I see the world through a view finder. Thank you, because I really need that!!

Jerry, maybe there were technically better pictures than yours, but remember it also has an assignment.
My comment while judging was:- 2slo,high plains prairie. Lovely naturephoto. Beautiful colors and love the fact that the vanishing point is pointed sideways instead of cliche straightforward.
I have seen the best entries I've ever seen here in an assignment, but some just match better to the assignment than others. I rated the assignment and the technical part about 50/50.
