I'm sorry, I must have missed something here. What is it that you are trying to accomplish by doing a Screen Capture of your computer screen / monitor?

While my macro-salt shaker was fairly thin DOF, it was also a pretty crappy image. Below ismy entry, a thin DOF black-capped chickadee, having a snack.

Well, that is cropped to maybe 1/7th or 1/8th of the original frame, but yeah, these guy will sit in your hand and eat. And they'll take their time, being picky. They'll pick up a seed, toss it. Pick up another, and toss that one too. Find a third, decide it's a keeper, and fly off to munch on it, before coming back for seconds (and thirds, and 20ths). Sometime they're in your palm for over 10 seconds at a time, though usually only 1 to 2.


With my old P&amp;S superzoom, I'd hold seeds in one hand, and the camera up by my shoulder in the other, zoom in, and take frame filling shots. Chickadees are not shy birds, as shown below.I don't know if my wife's friend wants to be a model, so she's been cloned into an unrecognizable mess.
