ham, great stuff! Are we going to see your landscape pictures soon when you get the car? Whatever it is, do share please.
Larry, you should post more in here.

Many car images I have seen here were shot with wide angel lenses, but sun was setting and the fastest lens I ha around was 85mm. Plus I wanted to try it out. This guy and his track happened to be around:

Today at Leicester Square, London. You can't take a candid here without seeing a cell phone.

I was in Birmingham a week ago and there were protests against that anti-Islam film. Without knowing anything about it, I decided to stick around and try my hand at documenting it:

is the album. Please feel free to have a look and tell me what you think.

Actually had a chance to take the "proper" camera out on Friday.

Unfortunately, I'd recently lent it to my brother, a beginner, and had set it up for him to use. Whilst I remembered to set the obvious things back, I forgot to put it back into RAW... so here are some JPEGs which, I must say, I was impressed with. You do still have a fair amount of wiggle room with the highlights, the only problems I really had were that Lightroom won't do lens corrections for the 15-85mm in JPEG, and colours are a bit more difficult to play with.

    good stuff Darren,
especially like the third. The first one could also be great in portrait orientation on the girl only.
The thing with the setting: Happens to me all the time, even if I don't lend it to anyone I'd really like some C settings
