    Ha! I was thinking the same thing looking at yours. Mine are highly cropped. I am 50-70 yds, sometimes more,from the eagles and I would love to get closer.

    Went to a Bloodstock sale on the weekend. Never done that before, lot of blokes standing around looking at auction books and breeding lines. Machine gun mouth auctioneers rattling away, shouting in comprehensible rythmic phrases. And me with my hands stuffed in my pockets, trying not to sneeze or wave at anyone, in case I ended up buying a horse.

    Horses don't like posing, saleyards are not the place for easy composition, well not for me anyway as I wondered about trying not to step in anything. But there were pretty horses there.

    In fact here are some snaps of some pretty fillies getting led around by big brown horses. I sound like I'm in the trade.

    That one went for $14000.

    This one couldn't read.

    Wrangler butts, drive me nuts and I didn't like the way this horse was looking at me.

    Thanks for viewing.

    Denise & Kayaker;

    Some nice shots of the ABEs....

    Kayaker, your shot locations look really familiar.....it's been a great winter for shooting ABEs (actually all birds) on Deer Is, Merrimack River.

    Here are a couple of my captures in the past few weeks.
