Thanks Oren - yep I agree it's a little on the soft side. I should have stopped down a bit to get a more suitable depth of field.

It's a great capture Ben. I use the same lens. one of the best from canon.
Cheers heerak. Here's another from the same little outing. This hawk was either quite young or injured as it didn't seem too phased by my presence - I was probably 3-5m away for this shot.
40D, 70-200mm f/4L IS USM @ 200mm & f/4, ISO 200, 1/500 sec. No post apart from the drop shadow border and resizing for web - essentially straight out of camera. C & C's more than welcome. Cheers.
