This is more of a candid than a portrait, but here goes....


My daughter between games at an out of town soccer tournament. Shot from about 10 feet away, open window at my back, camera left, florescent light above her head. Canon 30D, 70-200 f/4 non-IS, AV mode @ f/4, ISO 200, shutter 1/40, FL 118mm, RAW processed in DPP and resized. I had the camera set up for the last game and just snapped this shot. I didn't think about hand holding at this shutter speed and was pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
