It's been a very weird few days for me and my photography.
Tried going out to take shots for the new assignment the last few days, missed good light twice, got chased by cows, left my camera at work last night, tonight I forgot to swing past the bed shop on the way home to pay off my new bed before it gets delivered tomorrow, home late because I went taking photos instead (got some great shots of sunset light in misty rain, nearly crashed the car trying to stop in time then ran back and missed the good shot), got about 2m away from a wild kangaroo on the side of the road (got some headshots with my FL 55mm), and then when I'm finally home and cooking dinner I go to the bathroom and see this guy on the floor, so I have to take some shots of course (almost forgot i was meant to be cooking dinner). And now it's just started with the lightning outside, so I may as well go outside and try get that too.
But in the meantime, I have no freaking idea what this is. He was really slow so was either half asleep or just born (no idea what is the gunge on his eyelids, from an egg or just moulted?).
Anyone know South Australian Lizards?
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

Cool lookin' little guy.....maybe some type of Gecko?
I love the 4th shot, great pose and detail in the eye is awesome
I agree with Joel, the headshot is my favourite. I think it's a Common Smooth Knob-tailed Gecko, Nephrurus levis levis.
